The transaxillary breast augmentation leaves no scar on the breast as the incision is made in the axilla whereby the implant is introduced. It is a suitable option for small areolas as is the case with this patient in the video. She also had a pinch test of more than 2 cm allowing for a sub-glandular implant. The assistant plays an important role helping lift off the breast with the lighted retractor. No drain was placed.
